Not a bad attempt. I've seen worse.
What I like about this was that you kept a lot hitpoints for Boxy and touching enemies or spikes just decreased them but did not kill you off entirely.
Having said that, the controls were atrocious, Boxy's jumps were far too small and you can only complete jumps by sheer luck. Oh and it's badly bugged.
But, this showed a lot of promise. Work harder next time and I'll give you 5 stars.

DevThomas responds:

It's not by luck. I made them specifically arranged so that it would provide a challenge. Thanks for playing!

That was AWESOME! This series should keep going on, its so good.
That was well worth the wait.
I loved the music, and the fact that this one has a lot more chicks ( titties) in it.

I found a typo , i think:
"One of your fall behind" in the Save the girl/ Save the supplies scene

Thanks for the medals, as always.

Hyptosis responds:

Wow, totally messed up there, I'll fix it in my update! Usually I make a few of these and people point them out and I fix them all at once. Thanks man!

Pretty good.. letting the gamers figure it out for themselves is a good concept for an art game.
I liked the music also.
You could have added a Play again button though.
And i couldn't figure out the Curious medal.

deletedTAMyStudios responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

I considered a "play again" button, but given how small the game is, I ultimately decided against it. I may end up adding one if enough people ask for it.

The curious medal is hiding about. Although, I want people to play the game because they enjoy it, not because they want to find all of the medals.

This was really nice, but also short.
It was a good rip off of the sagittarian, you put a lot of thought in the text.
The music was beautiful and kudos for adding the medals.
Make the sequel longer and with lots more medals and maybe with voice acting and animation too.

Can't find the secret medal. PM me if possible.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Thanks for the review!

Yeah, the shortness is because as a first timer I got a little overhelmed, when I'll start the sequel, I intend to put much more work into it. You can count this one as a... well, a little interest check. If at least one person would be interested in anything here.

And I can say that you get the secret medal from one of the choices, you don't have to pixel hunt pictures or anything of that kind.

Cheers

It was a nice game, not bad at all.
Actually it was only the medals that made it worth playing.
The music gets annoying after some time, you should have added some sounds.
This game fails because its too slow for the fast paced genre you have selected.
The catapult loading time should be instant and we should be able to control the trajectory.
Anyway, these stars are for your hard work, i hope to see a better game soon from you.

SketchistGames responds:

Thank you for the constructive criticism I really enjoy it when a player can tell me what he/she liked or disliked about a game!

Very nice platformer, simple and relaxing.
You should add a medal or two; medals want to make you actually play to the finish.
I love these 8 bit games (this seems like 1 bit though XD)

casinojack responds:

It did occur after I submitted that medals and high scores would be a good idea. Time to delve into the Newgrounds Medals API methinks...

Pretty good and really frustrating, but those medals make it seem worth the play.
The controls are quite clunky though.
I also hate it when I tap the rewind key and it rewinds for just a millisecond before dying again in the same trap. That killed me hundreds of times.
But overall, it was a nice game.

Oracions responds:

That's true. I thought maybe I should put it in a "minimum rewind time" so it always rewinded at least one second, for example. Or perhaps even better, make so it wouldn't allow you to rewind to a position where you would die immediately. Well, perhaps I should have.

They were all pretty good.
The interface could be better.
Oh, and my favorite one was the Paris in Springtime illusion.
Boy, i stared at it for 2 whole minutes and still couldn't figure it out until i saw the answer.

BanglaBoy96 responds:

Thanks man :D

Did you know i removed my headphones and looked away atleast 30 times throughout the game?
The graphics were so realistic, I actually felt i was there.
It reminds me of the Blair Witch Project.
The scares were cheap ( just the way i love them) , yet they were missing something.
I found Exmortis 2 much scarier even though not as realistic.
Cheers for using real actors just as in Hotel 626.

Your hard work has really paid off.
Don't you stop making horror games, we expect a lot more from you.

ProgressivegamesDLE responds:

Thanks! We really appreciate the feedback. Nice to hear you found it frightening... ;)
We'll definitely be back with more horror...!

Pretty good game. You should make another one with more weapons and death animation.
Its HAXOR proof, alright.

thinking-man responds:

No it's not.

Hey guys, I'm a hardcore gamer , an NG loyalist and a total medal junkie. Sometimes I like to program flash games for fun, so PM me if you need any help with something and if I'm free, i'll be sure to help out.
